UnifyCloud’s CloudAtlas® announces integration with Microsoft Azure Migrate
CloudRecon®, part of the CloudAtlas product suite, now provides integration with Azure Migrate, simplifying migration strategy, planning and execution.
REDMOND, WA., July 15, 2019: UnifyCloud, a rapidly growing global cloud solutions provider that specializes in accelerating migration to the cloud with a focus on cybersecurity, compliance and cost management, is launching a new integration with Microsoft Azure. This enhancement simplifies cloud migration for customers by integrating UnifyCloud’s CloudRecon assessment tool with Microsoft Azure Migrate.

Customers can start their migration journey by going to Azure Migrate on the Azure portal and creating an Azure Migrate project in their subscription. While creating the migrate project, CloudRecon can be selected as the server assessment tool. Customers can then proceed with installing and setting up CloudRecon. As a next step, key discovery data collected from discovery sources is securely transferred to CloudRecon, where advanced analytics are applied and insights and benefits are identified. This discovery and assessment data from CloudRecon can then be exported to the Azure Migrate project. This open flow unlocks the data and detailed recommendations of CloudRecon for use throughout the cloud migration journey in the context of the migration project.
In addition to the ability to assess the largest IT estates in minutes, CloudRecon also delivers meticulous analytics and exhaustive reports to accelerate and simplify migration planning through its ability to automatically assess all apps and their dependencies and create a comprehensive phased cloud migration plan and a detailed cloud financial analysis. As part of this planning, CloudRecon can also help you lower your total cost of ownership by highlighting opportunities like combining Azure Reserved Instances with pay-as-you-go prices to manage costs across predictable and variable workloads giving you greater flexibility.
This integration can be accessed via CloudRecon or the Microsoft Azure portal by searching for Azure Migrate.
